So just opened a show we mixed on a T112 iLive. 48x24 set up. It's rather nice I have to say. I liked the variable architecture that allows you to customize your subgroups, aux sends, matrix, etc to suit your needs.
Sounded pretty good to my ear anyway. Didn't really compare it to anything else.
I will say this however. It is also not something you're going to walk up to cold and familize yourself with in a hurry. It's fairly intuitive if it is already all set up for you. But if you're starting from scratch it can take a while to figure out all the ways you can customize your desk and such, since you can configure the busses and architecture as well as the surface itself. It also can take a while if it needs to reconfigure itself when you change something.
My only other issue really was that this unit didn't have enough inputs for the show, so I ended up using a SAC rig in the pit to submix the orchestra. With 30 wireless including spares patched in there wasn't enough inputs left for a 20 piece orchestra pit, even when I kept my mic count in the pit down. So I have a 24 input with 8 outputs in use SAC setup for the submix.
Anyway, other than a couple of the Digico units or an LCS rig I think this is probably my favorite unit I've worked on so far.
If we just had a 16 x 8 unit for the pit that probably would have done it.
Anyway, just thought I would share.
