Chatter is helped immensely by snugging up the internal bands that motorize the faders. Haven't found anything good to do for the clacking other than maybe a piece of felt or rubber in the track, but that's a bigger mod I wouldn't care to make since it might screw with the values allowed at the bottom of the fader range.

Thanks. I remember reading about that, but it sounded like a a fair amount of work to take the thing all apart. Probably not worth it to me. The main reason I'm using them is because they are the only thing that is available as a new product without weeks of buying something on ebay and then sending them into to be updated ala the Motormix. Obviosuly there is the Mackie but that only allows for 8 faders in SAC and it's big.

Maybe when I have time to kill, but I still have a Motormix in pieces waiting for me to finish a ROM update..... it's been like that for about a year now... ;)

Took maybe 20 min for me to pull it apart and tweak. Hardest part is getting a tab to fit back between motors in the middle of the board, otherwise it's all pretty straight forward.
