Got the chance to mix Jon Bon Jovi for an acoustic show (about 5K people). Just a 58 on his vocal with an old 990 for a verb and he sounded amazing. What a clean voice!

Good performers always make the job easier, don't they?

Couldn't agree more. Our PW band leader at church won a free wedding by ChristianCafe.com and part of it was Stephen Curtis Chapman singing during the wedding ceremony in our local historic Elkridge Furnace Inn (in an echoey stone room). Just him and an acoustic through a cheap Peavey powered mixer and a couple of Peavey boxes on sticks and he sounded amazing.
