New Soundcard

Postby Craig » Thu Oct 02, 2014 11:16 am

I'm looking for a small cheap 2-4 channel USB or Firewire soundcard that can do decent latency (1x128 or less) with SAC. I'm looking at the now defunct Echo Audiofire 2 or 4 as I can get one pretty cheap. Does anyone what any experience with these or any other suggestions? This is for a small project with almost no budget, so no need to mention the RME Babyface or new Motu.

Thanks!

The Babyface or the new MOTU would do nicely. ;)

Or this one, altho I can't find a latency spec for it: http://tascam.com/product/us-322/specifications/

Tascam also has the 122 and the 144 older USB models. You could look into them. Don't know about latency, but they're built well.
