Postby hclague » Sun Jan 11, 2015 12:37 pm

Hi all

Anybody have any experience using the Motu 896 mk3 with SAC or AMP? If so, What buffer settings were able to be used any issue's?
Thanks for any experience you can share. I'm thinking of switching my laptop rig over to this unit when I move to Win 7

Thanks

Hal

It's probably ok if you stick with firewire. I wouldn't try to run low latency multi-channel audio over USB 2.

RME seems to be doing it just fine.

I have no problems running a lightweight SAC session on my 8pre over USB, and the drivers are the same if I understand correctly. I do have to disable WiFi but that's probably my laptop more than than anything in the drivers.
