That thread just keeps getting better... now he is pissed because no one really gives a shit about the site or wants to pat him on the back, so he wants the thread deleted And in other news someone wants to put SAC in a church because they don't know how to work a Presonus mixer and can not teach the volunteers.... stay tuned next week when Bob says.... "enjoy the ride....". (insert cheesey soap opera organ cue )

You know how it is when you watch a slow motion replay of a disaster? An avalanche, a train wreck, those dashboard cams of cops getting run over, or some football player breaking his leg? You know how it's gonna end, but you feel compelled to watch anyway? It's like that Michael Corleone quote, "Just when I thought I was out... they pull me back in". You know? You shouldn't watch, but you just can't pull yourself away?

That's what it's like reading one of Donnie Frank's posts.

LOL... Ira, I even put him on block years ago now and I still feel compelled to click on the view button to read the posts.

But what is more amusing is that he is one of the more reasonable ones....

And look .. all the problems are happening there WITHOUT me being blamed as causing all the problems or causing bob to field "hundreds" of emails asking for me to be banned

Seems DF hasn't learned the lesson about not talking bad about your clients in public.

I was going to post In DFs thread something positive about SAC in churches. It really has worked very good for me in 4 churches.

But sometimes it's just more fun to set back and watch the flames

LOL. There are places where I think the software console is still a good option and a few where I think it's the best option. And I'm sure most of the folks that school'd DF would also agree if they didn't say it outright in their posts. But that paticular chuck is probably a perfect example of a place that might have gone down the SAC road at one point when there were far fewer options around but would be foolish to do so now.

Although having said that I can't think of any good example where I would actually recomend to someone that they spend money on SAC right now. Why would you buy into something that's dying a slow death? That's gotta be some of the worst advice anyone working as a consultant could give someone now days. It's different if you already have the software of course. You could buy the hardware in anticipation of AMP being released. But I wouldn't pay for SAC at this point unless someone was giving it away for $150 or something really cheap.
