I tried

Postby Gil Navarro » Wed Aug 19, 2015 6:38 am

I tried again yesterday to talk myself into upgrading to SAC 4. After looking at the new touch interface again, which would be my main reason for upgrading, I just couldn't bring myself to do it.

The Monitor view was enough for me to buy it and after about 10 shows I would hate to go back

No brainer for me... none of the promised stuff I have been waiting for was in there... and I have been waiting since quite some time before monitor view and a long time before the touch crap was even a thing.

Let me know when SAC has real DCA and the sequence and control view stuff appear.... blah, ha,ha,ha......

I've not downloaded the latest 4.x from Bob. Supposedly it fixes the problems with the latches and the 3x Mackie control surfaces. If those actually work, I'd feel the $100 was well spent. Monitor view is just gravy at that point. (I have no use for touch view, to be honest.)

Maybe next weekend I will have time to play around with SAC again. I've got a gig for my A-rig the latter part of September, hopefully I'll be able to check out SAC 4.0 by then.
Cheers,
