Saw a post on the other forum asking who will be at NAMM.
I was curious, so I went to the NAMM site and did a search of the participants.
I searched "SAC" "Software Audio Console" "RML" and "Montarbo" with no results.....
I guess we will find out the truth soon.................................................................... :horse:

Also couldn't help but notice that Bob L hasn't chimed in to say that he will be there.

This isn't really surprising. I am pretty sure the only time he went was when Montarbo 1st showed up with US distribution with the AIR Console folks. So in other words... someone else likely paid for it.

I don't know what NAMM costs but I'm sure it's not unlike other professional conferences/shows where the tab for the show is largely picked up by the vendors, not the attendees. It can cost a lot of money and something like a one person operation can easily be lost in a sea of options. To make yourself stand out you need to spend even more money. One company I've worked with did a large booth (at a conference I suspect likely costs A LOT less than NAMM) once and it took them a good 5 years to pay off that debt.

In other words... there are lot of things where I disagree with the choices made by Mr. L, but not having a booth as NAMM isn't one of them.

I was just thinking that we might see the controller and programable preamp setup he was talking about and showing at a previous NAMM.
But then again, when discussing it on the forum afterwards, he did say IF and when it happens.

Right. Doesn't look like Montarbo has a booth. Probably speaks more to the US distributor than Montarbo themselves.
