Is this website still active?
Very few, to no posts this past year.
Anything going on? Is everyone OK?

It's been slow. I know I've been busy all summer and don't have much time.
It also helps when nothing has gone wrong with my AMP environment!

Likewise.

I think most of us have more or less moved on to other things now.

Yeah .. made the mistake of using sac/saw just for a recording gig and of course it crashed in the middle of the set. Luckily I wasn't mixing on it.
I chose the convenience of having scenes already set to switch between my acts - should have just stayed with AMP.

Don't know why you always had problems
I would switch to Amp too but in well over 1000 shows I have had very few problems
A couple computers that would not boot , loose cards and 1 bad power supply
ALWAYS carry a spare computer for SAC or AMP
In the early days a lockup or 3 never stopped a show but made me loose a little more hair :x
Had 1 show stopper at a high school job where a MP3 file I was given to play crashed windows every time it was started I was using Foobar 2000 on the SAC host to playback which I do most of the time . The file also crashed another laptop using Windows media player never did figure that one out

I have got very used to using a few VST's like the link riley crossover and multiband compressor that I would really miss if I switched to AMP
I have even trusted SAC to use it on a couple Hillary gigs even feeding the press

Now please don't make me duck any nasty comments It just works for me
If you can convince me I would switch to AMP
And I still DO NOT drink anybody's Koolaid :protest:

It just stopped recording about 45 minutes into a set for no reason. Looked over, and it was stopped. Had 24 1-hr sets to record over 4 days, and the rest worked well, but I lost this one.
I shouldn't have been lazy and just switched it over to AMP.

The only thing I trust it for anymore is recording.
Use whatever you want. At some point, everyone has had that o shit moment.
